There is deception everywhere – the prophetic reality is that all of this deception was prophesied and expected. You might ask – if God is in charge, why is He letting this happen? My answer is – if you have to ask the question, you have not studied Bible prophecy. The Bible clearly describes the end times. It also explains all the things that are currently happening. One of the main things is deception, lies, and bearing false witness. Exodus 20:16 says, “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.” But this truth, provided by God, is being ignored globally. You cannot trust the majority of people anymore. As a matter of fact, most media sources and politicians are completely unreliable and untrustworthy.

Romans 16:18 speaks about false teachers (pastors, evangelists, etc.) “For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.” The phrase “the simple” is referring to people who have not thoroughly studied the Bible. False teachers are filling churches with nonsense that has nothing to do with Biblical scripture. Most of this deception comes in the form of new age, prosperity, and self-help gobbledygook. But it is also slathered with hedonism and secular humanism. These false teachers forget it’s not about us. Our thoughts and how we live should be all about Jesus and all He taught us in scripture.
Ephesians 5:6 says, “Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.”
2 Thessalonians 2:3 “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;” Some feel this falling away speaks directly to the rapture of the church – being caught away. Others believe this passage is talking about the rampant apostasy in the church. Either way, we must not allow any deception. The Bible reveals that Christians must exit the earth before the seven years of tribulation start.
Colossians 2:8 “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” I like to lump Psychobabble into this category of deception because it is entirely manmade and not based on scripture. Psychobabble is based on the philosophies of man and their vain attempt to correct psychological problems that have only one cure – Jesus Christ. Do these techniques work? Often, but their effect is temporary and usually requires constant reinforcement. If you are truly born-again, your transformation is permanent.
2 Timothy 3:13-14 “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;”
1 Corinthians 6:9-10, speaking about those that have not repented of these sins, says, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” If you don’t accept Christ as Savior and repent of these sins, making Christ alone your Lord, you will not see heaven.
The Array of Deceptions
Covid-19 is a deadly disease. Does Covid kill? Yes, but very rarely and almost always because of the person’s underlying medical conditions. Most people have a better than 99.9 percent chance of full recovery.
Masks work. The results are coming in from all over the world. Those with the strictest mask-wearing mandates have the worst outbreaks. Masks do not work to contain this virus. Masks are only helpful if you are in close contact with someone who has active disease symptoms. Prophetically speaking, Covid and the mask mandates psychologically prepare the people of the world to be mindlessly obedient to their leaders. They are deceptions that use fear to manipulate behavior. The antichrist will need this compliance to order his “mark of the beast” system.
Climate change is killing our planet. Well, that’s nonsense. The earth has gone through numerous climate changes in its past without dying. Prophetically speaking, we expect increasing climate disasters that gradually increase just before the start of the tribulation. Then, during the tribulation, horrible climate disasters and other disasters ensue all over the world. Luke 21:11 “And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.”
These are just today’s major deceptions, but there are many more. Believing what is presented to you through various media sources is no longer an option. You must do your own research and specifically search out the raw data. Don’t be a lamb led to the slaughter. Gather information and make your own decisions. Your life and eternal destination depend on it, and you deserve to know the truth. Your search for truth should always start with the Bible.

God said in Isaiah 44:8, “Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses.
