Palestine

“Now after the death of Moses the servant of the Lord it came to pass, that the Lord spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying, Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.” Joshua 1:1-4

The term Palestine refers to the entire area between Phoenicia and Egypt. In the 5th century BC the Greek historian Herodotus wrote of a "district of Syria, called Palaistinê" in The Histories, which included the Judean Mountains and the Jordan Rift Valley. So, historic records show that the area from Egypt North West to Israel, parts of the North Eastern Arabia, parts of Jordan and Syria and Lebanon were all part of what was called Palestine.

Between the 13th and 12th centuries BC Israel conquered and settled the land that was promised to them by God. This happened about 700 years before the term Palestine was used. At the time of the conquest the Promised Land was known as Canaan. Palestine did not become known as Palestine until after the Assyrians conquered the Northern Kingdom of Israel in 422 BC and then about 150 years later the Babylonians conquered the Kingdom of Judah in 583 BC.

I’m sharing this information to set the record straight. Israel is not pushing the Palestinians out of Palestinian land, they are taking back the land that was promised by God to them almost 3,000 years ago that they earned through conquest, then again by the United Nations when they established the Nation of Israel in 1948. That whole region belongs to Israel. In order to seek peace, the people of Israel have even given up land, but peace never comes. Why? Because it is the mandate of the Quran to conquer and assimilate people and nations by whatever means necessary, including: terrorism, murder, lying, deception and war. Please understand me – I don’t hate the people of Islam, I hate the religion of Islam. I would love for all Muslims to convert to Christianity. It’s not likely that all will, but many are converting. Praise the Lord!

The land belongs to Israel, because of an act of the United Nations in 1948, by right of conquest and because the Almighty God, creator of the universe says it’s their land. I support Israel – fervently and forever!
