You may ask why is a teacher of Bible history, apologetics, creationism, and Bible prophesy is talking about transgenderism? Well, because it was foretold in the Bible that this type of behavior would become prevalent and accepted in the End-Times. “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God” 2 Timothy 3:1-4
In recent weeks a little boy has been parading around as a “drag queen.” The little dude dresses up like a prostitute and pretends to be a girl. In the site of God this behavior is an abomination. I’ve also heard of grown men, dressed up like flamboyant prostitutes, having story time for children at libraries and other locations and sharing their abhorrent lifestyle with the children in question and answer sessions. In the site of God this behavior is an abomination. These people need prayer, they need psychological help and we are called to love them as potential born-again Christians. Only Christ can change these people, and make them new men with a renewed mind, as stated in Ephesians.
“If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.” Ephesians 4:21-24
The fact that this behavior is becoming mainstream (at least in the media) is disconcerting, shameful and a clear sign of the End-Times or Last Days. Many people today feel that what you think is what you are – which is ridiculous. We are what we were born to be mingled with what we are taught and our experiences. Men are biologic men, women are biologic women. In other words, a man cannot just say, “today I feel like a woman” and mystically, magically become a woman. Biology simply doesn’t work that way. I can’t decide I feel like a rabid fox today and go around town foaming at the mouth and biting people.
Biology is finite and unchangeable. Thinking that you are something you are not does not make it so. You are what you are, not what you think you are. In our verse from 2 Timothy, it is clear that the depraved and deceived mind of mankind is getting to the point that God must act. His character and holiness demand it. Look at the media and headlines, look at our society and you can clearly see the problems mentioned in 2 Timothy.
I’m looking for the rapture every day because of the convergence of signs clearly annotated in prophetic scripture. I have to keep living and pursuing life every day, but also be ready for the rapture at any moment. I’m ready – are you?
