Deleterious Effects on My Ministry

Working for the United States Postal Service is having Deleterious Effects on My Ministry. When I first looked into working for the USPS, the job was presented as a part-time job that would be a full-time job in certain circumstances. In reality, it has become a full-time and part-time job combined. In other words, I routinely work more than 50 hours per week – sometimes more than 60 hours per week. So, when I do get home, all I can think about is relaxing and resting. Sometimes I’m even so tired that I have to force myself to eat something. These comments do not constitute complaining; these are just statements of fact. I do enjoy the large paychecks. The problem I’m having is finding time to write and post Bible studies on my website. I’m also finding it challenging to research topics because of my almost constant state of exhaustion.

Today

Today I’m able to write because of a thumb injury. Fortunately, it’s on my left hand, and I type exclusively with my right hand. Way back in December, I hyperextended my left thumb. It never completely healed, and now I’ve re-injured it yet again. So, I went to the doctor’s office to get it looked at yesterday, and she gave me a few days off to allow my swollen thumb to calm down and at least start to heal. She’s also putting in a consult for an Ortho doctor to look at it to determine if it needs more aggressive treatment. That’s the only reason I can pause and write to you today.

Deleterious Effects on My Ministry

If you are not consistently writing, people lose interest in your ministry. This loss of interest has led to a decrease in visits to my website. Why does that matter? You might ask. Well, because I use my writing to share the gospel, educate people about theology and doctrine, and shed light on science and current events from a Biblical perspective. Besides promoting my books, my entire website is about leading people down the strait and narrow path found in Biblical scripture and bringing people to the saving knowledge and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. So, if I have decreased visits, I also have a decrease in the effectiveness of my ministry.

What You can do to Decrease the Deleterious Effects on My Ministry

You can help me a great deal by viewing my website. If you find something that you read and want to share with others, please share it with as many people as you like. I always write from the heart, and I always write what I feel is correct and accurate according to the Bible. Many of my articles are strictly Biblical and without compromise. I will not sugar coat the truth. I’m not in this to tickle ears and gain favor. I’m in this to teach Biblical truth unashamedly and with fervency to share the truth and bring people to Christ. The real Christ, not the made-up christ of various false belief systems and trends. So, if the bluntness of my articles offends you, feel free to post why you disagree and share your opinion. The key is for you to post and share. Thank you.

Romans 15:13

“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”
