So what do I mean when I say, “We need a tourniquet?” Well, children are leaving our churches in droves, like blood squirting out of an arterial bleed. Treating an arterial bleed requires direct pressure and if that doesn’t work, you must resort to using a tourniquet. The tourniquet in this case is Biblical truth fortified by science that proves – beyond any reasonable doubt – that the Bible is true and trustworthy, and most importantly, parents teaching their children what they believe and why they believe it.
Our children leave the church about the time evolution (naturalism) is preached in our schools. Yes, I mean preached. Children are sitting through Atheistic, Naturalist, Humanist sermons almost every day in school. These sermons are taking place in their science classes, their social studies classes, their history classes and other classes that are dedicated to pushing children to embrace Atheist, Naturalist, Humanist religious beliefs. During this indoctrination, the school system is also actively condemning and preaching against Christianity and Judaism. Our school system stands as the major source of our children’s education and we (as parents) tell our children to listen and learn. We give our children reason to take heed of what’s being preached, because we send them to school and ask them to learn. We expect that what’s being taught is fact and unbiased, but that is not what’s happening. Many teachers are good Christian men and women, but they are forced by the system to teach these Atheistic religious beliefs. It is an atrocity.
As parents we need to educate ourselves, so that we can educate our children and raise them to believe the truth – the only truth – Biblical truth. Parents and students, I challenge you to research the facts and disregard the lie of evolution (naturalism). Parents I challenge you to share the knowledge you gain with your children. If they choose to believe the lies of Atheism, Naturalism and Humanism, that’s between them and God. The most important thing is that you tried and continue to try. Never stop teaching your children the truth.
