Faith of Murderers Liars Adulterers and Prostitutes

The faith of Murderers Liars Adulterers and Prostitutes contributed to Christianity and that’s a wonderful thing. Why? Because it proves that every person, without regard for anything they have done, is welcome into the Christian Faith. You could be, in your opinion, the worst human that has ever lived. But God still loves you enough to send Jesus to die for you so that you can have eternal life. He loves you so much that after you give your life to Jesus, all of your sins are forgiven. God chooses to forget that you ever sinned.

“For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.”

Murderers and the Faith of Murderers Liars Adulterers and Prostitutes

Moses murdered an Egyptian, yet he is the person God inspired to write the first 5 books of the Bible. Moses was the person God Himself spoke to on many occasions. Most notably, God spoke to Moses from a burning bush that kept burning without being consumed. All of this was after Moses committed murder. His regret and repentance for this murder is also not recorded in scripture. But we can assume God forgave Moses or God would never have blessed Moses in all the ways that he blessed him.

King David had Uriah sent to the hottest spot on the battle field in order to insure his death. So, by proxy, David murdered Uriah. This demonstrates that even people dedicated to God can and will sin. We are not made perfect people when we accept the free gift of God’s grace. We are made perfect spiritually because of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross for us. We are still sinners by nature. So, we must actively pursue righteousness out of love and respect for Jesus’ sacrifice for us. David did repent but not until after God chastised David by allowing his first born child to die. There are always consequences for our actions.

Liars and the Faith of Murderers Liars Adulterers and Prostitutes

Abram, who was eventually re-named Abraham by God, was a liar. He lied to the Pharaoh of Egypt. He said that he was not married to his wife and that she was his sister. This also caused Abrams wife and Pharaoh to commit adultery. All because of Abrams lie. We all lie, so not accepting Christ Jesus because you feel you have lied too much to get into heaven, is just wrong. You are imposing limits on a limitless God. God will forgive anything – literally anything if you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

Adulterers and the Faith of Murderers Liars Adulterers and Prostitutes

Abrams wife was an adulteress, yet she gave birth to the lineage of Jesus the Christ. The only begotten Son of God. Without her, Jesus would never have been born. King David was also an adulterer. He had sex with Uriah’s wife Bathsheba while Uriah was off fighting for his King and country. Does this mean that adultery is okay to commit? No! Certainly not! If you read the historical narrative concerning each of these incidents and others, you will also find that these sins created all kinds of havoc. The havoc that is still affecting the world today. Sin can be and often is far reaching, effecting many lives. In some cases, billions of lives. Consequently, the sins of Abraham and his wife Sarah are an example of this.

Prostitutes and the Faith of Murderers Liars Adulterers and Prostitutes

Rahab, also known as “Rahab the harlot” was the Great Great Grandmother of King David. The Bible clearly shows Jesus is a direct descendent of King David. So, a prostitute is in the lineage of Christ. God can forgive anyone of anything. Your job, after you are forgiven, is to live a life that would be pleasing to God. A Righteous life as free from sin as humanly possible. Not because you have to, because God allows you to have the free will to choose your own path. But you reject sin out of appreciation, gratitude, faith, and love for your Lord and Savior. So, prostitutes, rapist, people who commit incest, homosexuality, transgenderism, or any other sexual sin are all welcome into Christianity. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23.

Conclusion

No matter what your sins are, you can be forgiven. Even if you feel you are the worst sinner that ever plagued this planet, you can be forgiven. Christianity is literally for everyone. Therefore, if you are a glad person or a sad person, if you’re a grumpy person or a happy person, if you’re a sinful person or a person that usually follows all the rules, you are welcomed into Christianity. Jesus said, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” Matthew 11:28-29. Jesus said, “all ye” that means everyone, without exception.

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23.

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13.

The only sin that will keep you out of heaven is the sin of not accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior. So all are welcome and no one’s sin is to horrible. Just accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and you will be saved.
